Im try to script it like on a Blizz server, but for now i can tell you, 2 things NOT gonna work: In phase 1 the Dark Glare In Phase 2 The stomach event - Maybe i can do, not sure yet Im gonna try to fill something cool encounters instead of these Check out my Video, where you can see the Summoning of C'thun (Not complete yet) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gjUccyKiigA (the video is still on processing...) What show the video? There is a npc Called Vek'nilash (Random or maybe some lore?), who is controlled by C'thun. If he dies, there will be an npc spawn, called Spikwitmi (You dont know where the name come from? Try say it "Speak with me") Who gonna go tho the Altar, and summon the Old god...Unfortuanatly, the Old God kills him. So, what do you think?:> (yea i know my english is $uck) Update: Now the summoner npc (Spikwitmi) is untargetable, (now cant see, the spell what he casting is evocation) Spikwitmi summon-event updated: Now after he reach the altar (Where he died in the video) only summon the portal, after that, walk down, and after that he got some epic-visual effect+spell damage visuals, and then he die C'thun: Now not only the eye+the portal got summoned, there is the body. The body and the portal is untargetable. C'thun first phase is almost fully scripted, he spawn in every 45 sec the eye tentacles (They use mindflay+ground rupture - only who stand too close) and in every 20 sec he spawn at a random player location a Claw tentacle (Ground rupture+harmstring). Dark glare is not in the script yet. I can't script the dark glare, because some Lua engine error (With the setOrientation or SetFacing i got instant dc). Im going to make something instead (My idea is c'thun spawn a mob, who cast in a very short range something aoe, and move around c'thun, so it will be like the Dark Glare) Encounter update: When the raid wipes, everything got despawned, and the evil guy (Vek'nilash) who summon the summoner npc after he died now will spawn, so you can start over the whole encounter! Update: Phase 1 fully scripted! Dark Glare added! so, how works the Dark Glare? In every 60 sec, C'thun stop casting, summon everything, and attacking. He summon an untargetable npc, who go half around c'thun. The npc select the closest target, and if he is too close, he will die instantly. After the npc reach the altar (where Spikwitmi died) he will despawn. (there is some bug, sometimes the npc is still there, but the instant-kill thing is ended, so you dont will die if you get too close Until i fix this, he change only form, so you cant see him.) Phase 2 scripting started! Update2: Fixed the bug with the spawned npc's, now they will attack you. Still, somewhy they dont cast some visual effect (the portal). Im trying to fix this (Im pretty sure its some Lua bug) Flesh tentacles added, and spawned when the 2nd phase start! Still working on the rest of the event. Some bad news: My computer died, so i have to reinstall it, with i lose my wow (I still have the scripts, so thats not problem). 1-2 day and im gonna start again the work Update3: My computer is back, patching is done, so i started the scripting again The Giant Claw Tentacles already done. Still working on the stomach event. The portal of the stomach (what with you can port out) is done, only some effect needed (knock up when you step on it, and when you teleport to c'thun) So it will be fun!
